01Re-stitching
Worn or broken seams are unpicked and saddle-stitched anew in matching linen thread, by hand, the way the piece was first closed.
A Dailcraft piece is made to be lived with — and brought back to life. Re-stitching, edge restoration, hardware, a clean and re-burnish — a free service for every online order. Tell us what your piece needs.

A good hide is meant to age. The corners soften, the grain deepens, the colour earns a patina no factory can fake. What it should never do is fail — and when it shows its years, it should come home, not to the bin.
Every piece carries the hand that made it, registered to its serial. That same atelier reopens it, restitches it, and returns it — so a Dailcraft bag stays with you for decades, not seasons.

01Worn or broken seams are unpicked and saddle-stitched anew in matching linen thread, by hand, the way the piece was first closed.
02Frayed or cracked edges are sanded, re-painted, and burnished back to a glassy, sealed finish that resists the next decade of use.
03Loose rivets, tired zips, and dulled clasps are tightened, repaired, or replaced with like-for-like solid brass and steel fittings.
04A deep conditioning feeds the leather, lifts marks, and revives the surface — the patina kept, the fatigue removed.
Send the model and a few photos of what it needs. The more we see, the sharper the assessment.
An artisan reviews your piece and replies with what can be done and the lead time. Care and repair is free for every online order — no quote, no charge.
Once you approve, your piece is restored by hand in the Riga atelier and inspected against its original specification.
Your piece ships back insured, with its care logged to its digital passport of authenticity.
